(gives far 2 much away)
I honestly coulda swore that Shawn made a thread 4 this since he posted about it on Letterboxd, but a bitch couldn't find it! so, here we go: was wild as hell, reminded me of Mute Witness in the sense that it effortlessly veers from srs conspiracy thriller in2 convoluted mess in a way that could only be cited as De Palma-esque in influence. But whereas the 3rd act almost entirely lost me on Mute Witness when I saw it, this had me hooked the entire way thru, even w/ some of the sillier bits, mainly due 2 how much it commits 2 being as overwrought & insane as possible even when its shoveling exposition down ur throat. It rly is a shame that most ppl can't appreciate some good panache tho cuz this is DYING 4 a good cult following 2 realize how much of a hidden gem it is, so, guess it's up 2 Shawn & I 2 make it a tradition since Ik he's seen it!
