So when it comes to uploading a signature, it seems simple, right? All you do is go to profile > Edit Profile,
and where it says edit profile and then what happens? The signature is too long.
As you can see from various members, there is a way to cheat through this, and create signatures that have
tons of photos, and graphics. And here is how!
1.) If you design your signature on preview first, you got to stop that or save the code first before doing that.
You're probably asking "why? that just makes things harder?" and to that i have something to show you.
In this example, We're going to take this code.
which uses this format
Which is the format that other forums use, such as zetaboards, and will be read by Proboards.
Use this format whenever you're writing your signature code. I write it out on Notepad personally,
and do the math to make sure everything works out correctly.
For example, this image
250x141 and typically a set, can hold three or four of these in a row. The height is more important than the width
Also use this if you want to center format your signature, which is recommended.
So wait, what about the preview post shit?
It gives you the option to see your signature which is good, right?
If you go back to BBCODE, you'll see this
which is probs too small for you to see, so lemme quote one of these bad boys
What happened? The code got changed to something far bigger and far more extra,
And this change isn't mundane, it's drastic because it now makes it so the image won't fit in
2:) now that you know this, the only thing you gotta do is name your image files something very minimal.
Something like "1.gig" usually works.
3:) Always use imagur to upload your gifs to. Even if you found them somewhere else, download them, rename them
to something simple, and then upload to imagur. In this way you have control to make your link as tiny as possible
4:) Now that you've got that out of the way. Once you have your code, which should be edited on something like
notepad or the plain BBcodeoption, you're gonna go to profile < edit profile where you'll find "edit signature". Post your
signature, and save it.
